The Move Supervisor will work with the Move Team Leader in planning and setting up of jobs and assigning personnel.  Move Supervisor will also direct all aspects of the move operation.  Must have strong supervisory and training skills.  Must take initiative and have good interpersonal and communication skills.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain all paperwork pertaining to the job
  • Protection of any and all material being moved.
  • Protection of buildings moved out of an into.
  • Develop budgets and work with operations TM's to complete jobs under budget.
  • Provide Daily job progress updates to all related contacts.
  • Ensure all movers and move leads provide daily end of day recaps.
  • Supervise all personnel assigned
  • Responsible for the completion of all lines on the job order.
  • On the Job Training of any new personnel and assessment of their progress.
  • Responsible for complete customer satisfaction.
  • Report any discrepancies in job orders to VP of Operations.
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment and supplies.
  • Foster a professional attitude, cooperation, and team effort.
  • Maintain a safe, secure work environment at all times.
  • Clear communication with customer and administrative staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.


Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises Movers and Contractors.


Physical Demands

  • Heavy lifting (80 pounds), moving, unloading, etc. as required of an installer.
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, crouching, crawling.
  • This is a position that may be required to work overtime nights, weekends and holidays.
  • On-time attendance to work and all meetings.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Pass all pre-employment checks.
  • Attitude for teamwork and show initiative.
  • Leadership skills and good teaching ability.
  • Organizational and implementation skills
  • Good driving record, NC driver's license and ability to drive a 24' truck.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints
  • Good knowledge of moving techniques and industry standards.
  • Ability to devise a plan and execute it.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
